Unveiling more of Hidden Gems NYC Big Adventue: Tour of Hidden Wonders at Cathedral of St. John The Divine!

Uncovering another stop from our upcoming NYC Hidden Gems Big Adventure coming next weekend Saturday,October 15th:  We are positively thrilled to pull off this coup and gain access to this very rare, unique tour. A trip to the massive and jaw dropping Cathedral of St. John the Divine in Morningside Heights is always worth the trip in itself. But the Big Adventure is showing up specifically for this:

Within the Walls: Spotlight on Hidden Spaces
This extended vertical tour features “behind-the-scenes” climbs in both the eastern and western ends of St. John the Divine. In the east, descend into the unfinished crypt and then ascend Guastavino’s beautiful spiral staircase to incredible views high above the altar. The western climb presents an amazing view down the entire length of the world’s longest cathedral.

If you’re going to join us bring your walking shoes, camera and something to wipe away the awestruck drool. Don’t forget to sign up on the Facebook event page or e-mail us at Info@NYCBigAdventure.comif you’re up for this next Big Adventure. Fair notice: The Within The Walls tour has incredibly limited space and is on the early side in the morning.  We’ll have more info on that soon…

Need to get inspired? Check out this amazing photo gallery of historical St. John The Divine along with an extra dose of some trivia about the massive Cathedral:

St, John holds the title of the largest cathedral and Anglican church and fourth largest Christian church in the world. All right under your nose in the middle of Manhattan.
