Broadway Week returns with 2-for-1 Tickets to popular shows
The
always-in-gear NYC tourist board is trying to kick those infamous January Great
White Way Blahs (or the JGWWB as its known) with 2-for-1 tickets deals on 19 Broadway
plays and musical starting Tuesday, January 22 through Thursday February 7th. Sure, that’s more like three weeks, but we won’t complain.
The initiative was started a few years back as a way to beet the post-holiday slump in tickets sales and combat general city-wide winter-doldrums. It has become a wonderful way to get inexpensive tickets for some amazing shows. There are surprisingly few restrictions and an impressive variety of high quality shows from legendary long-running musicals (like Phantom of the Opera) to popular new comers (like Newsies).
So, why are we telling you about this so far in advance? Because tickets for this discount go on sale this morning at 10:30 AM and the most popular shows nad dates will fill up fast! More info and links can be found here!
