Spring Awakenings: The Amazing Macy's Flower Show NYC

Now through Sunday, April 10th, The Big Adventure suggests that you check out one of the City's Most Amazing Floral Displays at the World's Largest Store with  The Tower of Flowers at the 2011 Macy's Flower Show in New York City.
Since this somewhat fits the theme of our upcoming April 30th Big Adventure, we thought we would share: Macy's in Herald Square is once again decking out their giant store with a colorful and odiferous arrangement of flowers throughout the store.
To kick off the warm season, Macy's will be home to more varieties of flowers than we can pronounce with displays that include a Japanese Garden, Tropical Garden, Hydrangea Garden and more. Events over the next week include a floral seminar, a bouquet of the day and free 20-minute guided tours every day at 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. And, if you insist on actually shopping, swing by the Visitor Center (if you can find it) to get a 10% Savings Pass for the day.
One of the main reasons that Macy's is able to stay on top of their 100 year-old-game in a city with over 10,000 stores is by hosting inviting, intriguing events like these that mix a quality retail space with an event destination. Month after month, they constantly give tourists and locals a reason to swing by. In this case, The Macy's Flower show is worth the trip to 34th street for a truly breath taking set up.
