It's Martini Time in New York City!

The classic Martini is being celebrated once again: Event-based website Thrillist presents the Second Annual Martini Week starting Monday, April 4th and Running through April 17th (which is ,you know, actually two weeks. We call that Martini Math).

Throughout Manhattan, sixteen venues will offer their own version of a classic Gin or Vodka Martini, each no more than $11 depending on the venue. While the prices themselves aren't particularly amazing, the idea is kinda fun. We support the idea that you can sample a "Grizzly Bear" at one bar and then a "Gingered Pear" and "Sexy Sadie" at another. The timing is a bit limited however as specials are offered only each day during an early evening Happy Hour which usually runs 5:30 -8:30.

Bars and Restaurants include such sceney locales as 48 Logue, Abe & Arthurs, Aspen Social Club, Lounge at the Time Hotel, Revel NYC, Tao, The Pierre: Two E and Volstead – All between Central Park South and SoHo. Go figure.

If you're buying one for us, the Big Adventure prefers a Gin martini with extra olives. (it's the olives that get us a bit tipsy).
