Bakes by Melissa expands & expands (one mini-cupcake at a time)

Yesterday, we saw that Baked By Melissa, crafty creator of the beloved diminutive cupcake, is opening yet another location in New York City. This newest storefront is set in the heart of Gramercy at 23^rd & Park Avenue (111 East 23^rd Street) and set to open this summer. This will be Melissa Bushell’s eighth Manhattan location since she opened the first counter in SoHo in 2009. 

Baked By Melissa now has an impressive array of stunning, clean storefronts spanning the city from Spring Street to West 84^th Street. The Big Adventure personally loves the cupcakes (personal faves are the Mint Chocolate Chip and Red Velvet) and they we’re a giant hit as part our dessert table at our wedding reception last summer. We’re excited for the expansion but also hoping that BBM is not going down the road of brand exposure fatigue (Looking in your direction there, Crumbs.)
